Can I go to any of the undergraduate advisors?

Yes, you are not assigned to one individual advisor. Normally, there is 1 undergraduate faculty advisor and 2 staff advisors available each quarter for advising.

Do I need to set up an appointment with my advisor?

Appointments are available with Laura Barrera at https://appointments.ucdavis.edu/?office=39.  Lorenzo Zúñiga is also available for advising on a drop-in basis MW 10:30am-12:30pm and 1:30-4:30pm and F 8:30am-12:30pm and 1:30-4:30pm in 216 Sproul.
