Current Projects

• De-centering Hispanism. African and Asian Hispanophone Peripheries into Focus. (Book project).
• Critical edition of Alfonso García-Ramos’ novel Las islas van mar afuera, Fundación Tamaimos, Canary Islands, 2022.

Research and Artistic Works

• Co-creator of the CISLANDERUS, a cultural project and photographic traveling exhibition about Canarian immigration to Louisiana. https://www.thenesoyamartin.com/cislanderus
• The Canary Islander Descendants from Louisiana (2020). Short documentary film that portrays the lives and the history of the Canarian community in Louisiana from the Eighteenth Century to our days.
